How Can severe Bipolar Disorder Be Treated?

I met a man we had a wonderful 3 month relationship he asked me to marry him at least 50 Times..we did..within days his financial life fell apart..he moved in with me we got him straight and moved him in his apartment..that was our plan as I have kids...then he shut off all contact and is insisting on a divorce. It s like a light switch went off he is no longer wanting anything to do with me..I learned he s bipolar..is this typical?

Yes, this may be severe depression episode which is making him to withdraw from the society totally.

In bipolar disorders people do get severe episodic depression which may present the way he has. You can take him to a psychiatrist for assessment and management.
